Skyfall, on Blu-ray. loved seeing that Aston Martin DB7 from Goldfinger again.

Flight, on Blu-ray. Denzel Washington is seriously the most talented and gifted actor working in hollywood today. the man can do no wrong!

The Perks of Being a Wallflower, on Blu-ray. Emma Watson lights up the screen!

Avatar CE, on Blu-ray. hell yeahhh!!!!

A few nights ago I went out with a buddy of mine, and we saw Life of Pi at the discount theater, I thought it was a good movie, but no "Avatar" like it was billed to be, lol.

Lincoln; Late night. Great movie.

War of the Worlds; Neat regurgitated version of a classic.

Both Spielberg films.

Hi Omaticaya,

Yes, long time. I am doing well. Still training, surfing and best of all, still employed. I am up for my 3rd degree this summer with a trip to Japan sometime in September. Other than that, I still think Avatar is the best and keep up with my friends here. How about you? Still training? School?

Saw O Brother, Where art Thou? Read the Odyssey then watched it this weekend. Great story and great music!

This thread needs to be brought back to life :)

I rarely go to the movies as I'm so broke *lol*

But I had to go and watch a special film, The new Hunger Games - Catching Fire :)

I went with my father and we also managed to watch it in English original version (It's not that easy living in Italy), and also... It was the same cinema where I saw AVATAR the very first time in 3D in January 2010. Special place.

I watched "The Hobbit" - Desolation of Smaug at the cinema.

Unfortunately in 2D, because gosh... I swear, in 3D this must be absolutely astonishing. Even in 2D it was so obvious that it would have been even more mind blowing in 3D. Some action scenes are truly quality.

Oh, certainly. Well, technically speaking, it would be a lot better to watch it in the proper cinema, or even 3D/IMAX, but since this is my first chance to see it, a tiny few inches wide screen on board of Lufthansa's A330 will be sufficient. And yes, it will me a nice way to help me endure 6:25 hours long flight.

Ah, What the beep? Changed list of movies. Well, what can I do... I am like 67.49% sure I saw it on the list the last time I checked, but maybe my insanity is kicking in.

I probably would see it, but it is one of those movies where I will probably wait until they are all out since I missed the first one.

Joy (2015), drama about the woman who invented the Miracle Mop, and basically became the face of QVC/HSN channels. a great drama about her and her whacky family, and her struggle in a male-dominated merchandising market, wonderfully acted by the mesmerizing Jennifer Lawrence. two thumbs way up!
