I came across this today, its worth giving it a read, I learned some things I didn't know as well. Always fun finding old gems like this.

Very good read, it really is impressive how much detail and research went into litteraly so many things, and how they used and combined many different things in how creatures and plants work in the real world in ways that created alien life, BUT yet was designed so that it looked like a natural process made all of the stuff helping to make the world feel real to the viewer( I really liked the thing about how the Na'vi percive different colors at dusk depending on elevation and that coloration goes into what they wear, which helps tribes know who is who. It is INCREDIBLE all the thought and detail that went into the project, and that is one of the reasons that I still say its success was no accident, and that all of the "delays" were no accident concerning the sequels, Irayo for sharing this and I can't wait to be thown back into that world on the big screen again :D
